Area of application

These general terms and conditions apply to open seminars, on-site / in-house seminars and consultations on the premises of InCelligence* or external event locations. For open seminars in Heidelberg the TaC of PromoCell Academy apply. These you find here.

Booking of in-house trainings

The booking of in-house trainings is handled via phone and e-mail. After tailoring the course contents an offer is sent. Sending the order confirmation via e-mail or fax ist the legally binding booking of an InCelligence* course or training.

Registration for open courses in Heidelberg

The registration for open courses in Heidelberg is carried out via the web site of PromoCell Academy and handling of registrations lies within the responsibility of PromoCell GmbH. To these registrations the terms and conditions of PromoCell Academy apply.

Terms of payment

The course fee is understood with the addition of VAT. For in-house trainings, the payment target is at least 4 weeks before the set course date. The payment has to be made to InCelligence*. For open courses in Heidelberg, the payment is due latest 2 weeks before the course starts. Payments have to be made to PromoCell Academy.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing. For cancellations, which are received at least 14 days before course begins, we will invoice you for 50% of the course fee. For cancellations which are received later than 14 days before course begins, no refund is possible. In case of absence from the event or dropout, the course fee must also be paid. The naming of a substitute participant is possible. Should a seminar be cancelled by InCelligence* or PromoCell GmbH, the course fee will be refunded by the invoicing party. Further claims are excluded.

Services

Included in the course fee of in-house trainings of InCelligence are the trainer’s remuneration, travel expenses, material and transport costs, and the fee fort he set number of participants. Included in the registration fee of open trainings in Heidelberg are food and beverages during the course, training materials in color print and the certificate of participation. Accommodations are not included in the price. PromoCell offers the service of placing your hotel reservation free of charge. On course days, the transfer to and from the PromoCell Academy premises are organized free of charge. Travel costs to and from Heidelberg are not included in the course fee. For practical courses, every participant should bring a laboratory coat to the course. Other protective gear will be provided by PromoCell.

Liability

Should an event be cancelled for any reason, including those where InCelligence* is responsible, only the course fees will be reimbursed. Further claims are excluded. For damages which are the responsibility of InCelligence - regardless of the legal cause – InCelligence* is liable only insofar as the damages were caused by intent and/or gross negligence. InCelligence* is not liable for the loss or theft of personal items, in particular for valuables found in the cloakroom. For practical courses, specific safety trainings are performed where specific risks and counter measures are explained. After signing the safety training forms, the participants take place at their own risk.

Content and trainers

Content, procedure, date and site of trainings as well as the selection of the instructors may be changed as long as the overall character of the event is maintained. If participants cannot attend an event as the result of a change in date by InCelligence* or PromoCell Academy, it is possible to rebook the same course at a later date or to cancel the registration free of charge Changes and modifications of the terms and consitions Changes and modifications of the present terms and conditions require written form and only take effect after confirmation by InCelligence*.

Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Bremen.
